blade 1000 startup PLZ help

Hi Leute, ich habe ein Thema auf einer Balde 1000. Das System ist mit einer 36GB Fiber Platte ausgerüsten und

ein Probe-scsi-all zeigt:

Nach erfolgreicher Solaris installation bekomme ich aber folgendes:

Ich verstehe das Thema nicht außderdem habe ich von Fiber Channel NULL Ahnung, noch weniger als sonst Kann mir da wer helfen? Viele grüße David

Hi David,

hast du die Platte tauschen müssen?

Jede FC-Platte besitzt eine einzigartige WWN (world wide number) zur Identifikation. Damit du vom OBP von der neuen Platte booten kannst, ist es eventuell erforderlich den HW-Pfad mit der gültigen WWN anzupassen.

Ich habe bei sunsolve oder sunshack damals gelesen, wie man beim Tausch von FC-Platten bei eine Blade 1000 vorgehen muss.

Ob das aber zu deinem Problem passt, kann ich nicht ganz feststellen.

Du hast eine Seagate ST336605FC 36GB Platte installiert. Dazu gibt es eine FIN (field information notice). Aber das passt nicht richtig zu deinem Problem.

Hallo Freud-Schiller,

falls die bisherigen Antworten Deine Fragen noch nicht beantworten konnten, schreib doch noch ein wenig über den Kontext:
- handelt es sich um eine Neuinstallation, Upgrade  oder ein Laufwerkstausch mit anschließendem Restore eines Backups?
- welche OBP-Version hat die Maschine?

Soweit ich Dich verstanden habe, kommt die irritierende Meldung nach dem Abschluss der Installation.
Es ist völlig normal, dass die Installation den Parameter boot-device verändert. Ich habe es aber noch nicht
erlebt, dass es vorher eine Warnung darüber gab. Die nachfolgende Meldung über das Schreiben einer neuen
vtoc ist mir so auch noch nicht untergekommen, aber auch zu verstehen, wenn Du zuvor dem Installationsprogramm
Deinen Wunsch nach neuer Aufteilung kund getan hast ;-)
Diese Meldung würde ich dann aber auch vor dem Übertragen der ausgewählten Software erwarten.
